Dow and Jilin Connell to Partner on U.S. Aniline Supply

Dow Chemical has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Jilin Connell Chemical Industry Co. (Jilin City, China) for Jilin Connell to supply aniline to Dow's U.S. operations. Discussions include  options such as the possibility of Jilin Connell building an aniline plant adjacent to Dow’s  Freeport, TX site.Dow operates the largest single-train crude methylene diphenyl diisocyanate  (MDI) plant in the world at its Freeport, TX complex, and competitively-priced aniline supply is critical, Dow says.
