Markets :: Plastics :: Methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate BASF to Expand MDI Capacity in Korea5:50 AM MDT | June 15, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz BASF will raise capacity for methylene di-para phenylene isocyanate (MDI) at its Yeosu, Korea site. The expansion will take place during the course of 2011 and 2012 with the main part of the work combined with the annual maintenance, which is scheduled frm April to May 2012. BASF and co-locators at the Yeosu complex, which also need to expand their facilities, will invest a combined won 80 billion ($73.7 million) at the site.
