Synthesis Energy Systems to provide gasification technology for glycol plant

Synthesis Energy Systems (SES; Houston) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hongye International Investment group (Wuhai, Mongolia) for the supply of SES’ gasification technology, equipment and services to Hongye’s 600,000 m.t./year ethylene glycol plant to be built in Inner Mongolia. The coal-to-chemicals project’s total investment is RMB 9.5 billion ($1.5 billion), with construction taking place over the next two years.
