Markets :: Industrial Gases Praxair to Supply Oxygen to Uruguayan Pulp Mill11:58 AM MST | November 16, 2011 | Robert Westervelt Praxair has signed a 15-year contract to supply oxygen to a pulp mill complex being built in Punta Pereira, Uruguay. The mill will be operated by Montes del Plata, a 50-50 joint venture between Arauco and StoraEnso. Praxair will build and operate a non-cryogenic vacuum-pressure-swing-adsorption plant with a capacity of 126 tons/day of gaseous oxygen. The plant is scheduled to start up in early 2013...
