Markets :: Industrial Gases Praxair to Build Carbon Dioxide Plant in Thailand10:35 PM MDT | August 26, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Praxair says its Praxair Thailand (Samut Prakan, Thailand) subsidiary will build a new carbon dioxide (CO2) plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand. The plant, which will have a capacity of 300 m.t./day of liquid CO2, is scheduled to come onstream in the fourth quarter of 2011. The plant will supply an increasing demand for CO2 blended into compressed natural gas for vehicles, as well as for growth in the chemicals, shrimp-freezing, beverage and other markets, Praxair says.
