Markets :: Industrial Gases Praxair Divests Advanced Components Segment2:43 PM MST | February 1, 2012 | Vincent Valk Praxair has sold its advanced components segment, which makes and sells electrostatic chunks (ESCs) and chamber components for semiconductor processing equipment, to FM Industries (FMI; Fremont, CA). FMI is a subsidiary of NGK Insulators, a Japanese electrical products and materials concern. Terms of the deal, including the selling price, were not disclosed.
