Markets :: Industrial Gases Oxea Boosts Syngas Capacity at Bay City, TX7:48 AM MDT | October 3, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley Oxea says it has completed its syngas capacity expansion project at Bay City, TX. The expansion boosts capacity by 10%, to about 17.6 million cubic feet/year. Syngas is the main precursor for the production of oxo intermediates and oxo derivatives. “At the current high demand for our oxo products, greater product availability will further lead to an improved level of service and supply security for our customers, both now and in the future,” says Miguel Mantas, executive board member for marketing and sales at Oxea.
