Markets :: Industrial Gases Linde to Establish Industrial Gases JV with Sinopec Subsidiary10:04 AM MDT | April 9, 2009 | Deepti Ramesh Linde says its Linde Gas (Hong Kong) subsidiary will establish a joint venture with Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon Works (SVW; Chongqing, China), a Sinopec subsidiary, to jointly build gas plants and produce industrial gases for SVW’s chemical complex at the Chongqing Chemical Industrial Park. The jv will be established by June and it will involve an initial investment of about €50 million. SVW mainly produces natural gas-based chemical and chemical fibre products, and is currently expanding its vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) production capabilities, Linde says...
