Markets :: Industrial Gases Fluor Buys Sulfur Technology Firm from Air Products2:14 PM MST | November 7, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley Fluor says it has acquired Air Products’ subsidiary Goar, Allison & Associates (GAA; Tyler, TX), a process engineering firm specializing in sulfur recovery technologies for the energy industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. GAA provides sulfur technologies for upstream gas plants, downstream refineries and gasification. The acquisition is consistent with Fluor’s ongoing evaluation of pursuing companies in key areas to support the oil and gas sector, and GAA’s core technologies are complementary to Fluor’s existing sulfur...
