Airgas Raises Dividend

Airgas has raised its quarterly dividend by 10%, to 32 cts/share, the company says. The dividend will be paid on September 30 to shareholders of record as of September 15. The company's previous dividend was 29 cts/share.   "We are raising the dividend on the strength of our record earnings and strong cash flow in fiscal 2011 and the first quarter of fiscal 2012," says Airgas CEO Peter McCausland.
