Markets :: Industrial Gases Airgas Buys Three Distributors2:46 PM MST | January 3, 2011 | Nancy Seewald Airgas says it has acquired Conley Gas (La Porte, TX), a $9-million/year supplier of pure gases to the specialty gas industry. Terms were not disclosed. Conley, which also has operations at Stryker, OH, purifies, repackages, and distributes high-purity hydrocarbons such as methane and ethylene. Airgas has integrated the acquired business into its Airgas Specialty Gases business unit. “The Conley product offering is considered unique with respect to product grade and delivery method,” says Bill Russo, president of Airgas Specialty Gases.
