Airgas Acquires Two Packaged Gases Distributors

Airgas says it has acquired industrial packaged gases distributors Central Welding Supply (CWS; Ennis, TX) and Texas Industrial Gas (TIG; Houston) in two separate transactions. Terms were not disclosed. The acquired firms have combined annual sales of about $6 million, Airgas says. Both companies were folded into its Airgas Southwest regional division.
