Air Products to Supply Gases to Wafer Fab in Taiwan

Air Products says it Air Products San Fu subsidiary in Taiwan has signed a letter of intent with United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC; Hsinchu, Taiwan) to provide nitrogen and bulk gases to its new Fab 12 phase three and phase four in the Tainan Science Industrial Park (TSIP). UMC is the world’s second largest foundry company and a leading wafer manufacturer.
