Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Products and Matheson Break Ground on Helium Plant1:38 PM MDT | October 12, 2010 | Lindsey Bewley Air Products and Matheson, a subsidiary of Taiyo Nippon Sanso, say they have commenced on-site construction of their jointly-owned liquid helium plant at Big Piney, WY. The plant will have the capacity to produce 200 million standard cubic feet /year of helium and will process crude helium produced by a natural gas processing facility operated by Cimarex Energy Co.
