Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Products Acquires Hydrogen Plant in Texas3:05 PM MDT | September 4, 2009 | Nancy Seewald Air Products says it has acquired a steam methane reformer (SMR) hydrogen plant under construction in Corpus Christi, TX from midstream gas processing firm MarkWest Energy Partners (Denver). MarkWest will receive proceeds of approximately $73.1 million and Air Products will complete construction of the plant, due to start up in March 2010.
