Air Liquide's Quarterly Revenues Rise on Improved Demand

Air Liquide’s first-quarter sales jumped 12%, to €3.5 billion ($5.1 billion) because of “strength in customer consumption.” Net income was not disclosed.  The gas and services division reported sales up 11%, to €3.2 billion. Sales from developed economies rose 8%, while revenues from developing regions soared 30%, Air Liquide says.
