Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Liquide to Build Gases Plant in Ukraine5:40 AM MDT | June 20, 2011 | Ian Young Air Liquide will build an air separation unit that will supply industrial gases to the Yenakiyevo, Ukraine iron and steel plant of EMZ, a subsidiary of leading steel company Metinvest (Donetsk, Ukraine). The air separation plant will have combined capacity for 1,700 m.t./day of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon and it is due to start operating in mid-2014. It will be designed, built, and operated by Air Liquide and will also supply liquid gases to other industrial customers in Ukraine.
