Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Liquide to Build Air Separation Units for Coal-to-Chemicals Projects in China11:54 AM MDT | April 20, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Air Liquide says it has signed contracts to build four air separation units (ASUs) for new clients in the coal-to-chemicals industry in China. Air Liquide Hangzhou, the company’s engineering and construction center in China, will design and build two ASUs each with a production capacity of 1,400 m.t./day of oxygen for the Yulin Energy and Chemical Corp. of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group (Yanan, China), and two ASUs each with a production capacity of 2,100 m.t./day of oxygen for Shandong Hualu Hengsheng (Dezhou, China).
