Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Liquide to Build ASU in China1:00 AM MDT | June 11, 2009 | Deepti Ramesh Air Liquide says that it will invest €25 million to build an Air Separation Unit (ASU) at Chengdu, China. Air Liquide has signed a long-term supply agreement with Beijing Oriental Electronics Technology Group (BOE) for BOE’s new 4.5-generation thin film transistor - liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) fab at the Chengdu high-tech industrial park. Air Liquide says it has also signed an agreement with Tianma Microelectronics (Shenzhen, China) to supply all the carrier gases to its new 4.5-generation TFT-LCD project at Chengdu.
