Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Liquide-Praxair JV to Supply Gases to Bayer Polyurethane Facility in Shanghai12:20 AM MST | December 18, 2009 | Deepti Ramesh Air Liquide says its Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Industrial Gases (SCIPIG) joint venture with Praxair, has signed a new 15-year industrial gases contract with Bayer Polyurethanes Shanghai. SCIPIG is a 50-50 jv between Praxair and Air Liquide. SCIPIG will invest in a steam methane reformer (hydrogen unit) and in a carbon monoxide unit, which will be built and commissioned by the engineering and construction teams of Air Liquide.
