Air Liquide Expands its Activities in Mideast

Air Liquide says that it has commissioned an Air Separation Unit (ASU) near Cairo, Egypt, with a production capacity of 140 m.t./day of liquid oxygen and nitrogen, to supply the growing market in Egypt. An argon production facility with a capacity of 12 m.t./day will also be commissioned at Alexandria, Egypt to supply the welding gases and argon mixture industry in Egypt and in the neighbouring countries.
