Air Liquide Buys Air Separation Unit From Georgia Gulf

Air Liquide has purchased an air separation unit from Georgia Gulf that is located near the latter company’s chemical plant at Plaquemine, La. The facility produces oxygen, nitrogen and argon and is connected to 13 other Air Liquide facilities in the area. Air Liquide began supplying oxygen and nitrogen to Georgia Gulf’s chemical plant at Plaquemine under an agreement that went into effect on January 1.
