Air Liquide Builds Gases Units in India and Malaysia

Air Liquide says it will invest €45 million ($60.8 million) to build an air separation plant at Panipat, India. The plant will be designed to produce 850 m.t./day of oxygen from July 2009. The investment follows a long-term agreement signed between Air Liquide and IndianOil, under which IndianOil will outsource the oxygen and nitrogen requirements for the company’s Panipat refinery and petrochemical complex, which are under construction.
