Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Liquide Builds Air Separation Plant at Yichun, China9:31 AM MDT | March 15, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Air Liquide says it will invest approximately €40 million ($54.4 million) in a 1,200-m.t./day air separation plant at Yichun, Heilongjiang Province, China. The investment follows a long-term contract signed with Xilin Steel Group to supply it with oxygen, nitrogen and argon. The plant, which will be built by Air Liquide Hangzhou, the engineering unit of Air Liquide in China, is due onstream in the first quarter of 2012.
