Markets :: Industrial Gases Air Liquide Bags PV Contracts in China7:03 AM MST | December 21, 2009 | Deepti Ramesh Air Liquide says it has signed several new contracts with crystalline-Silicon (c-Si) solar cell manufacturers in China. Air Liquide says it will invest over €10 million ($14 million) to supply carrier gases and specialty gases to JA Solar (Shanghai) and Yingli Green Energy (Baoding, China), China’s second and third largest solar cell manufacturers. Air Liquide already supplies Suntech, the largest c-Si producer in China. Air Liquide now supplies JA Solar’s solar cell production fabs at Yangzhou, and Ningjin, China; and Yingli’s solar cell...
