Air Products to Supply Gases to Wafer Fab in Taiwan, Build ASU

Air Products says its Air Products San Fu (Taipei, Taiwan) subsidiary has been awarded a new long-term contract by semiconductor company United Microelectronics (UMC; Xinzhu, Taiwan) to provide nitrogen and other bulk gases to four new phases of UMC’s fab 12A complex in the Tainan Science Industrial Park (TSIP), one of Taiwan’s largest science parks.
