Markets :: Industrial Gases Praxair Signs Contract with Deacero in Mexico12:04 AM MDT | April 20, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Praxair says its Praxair Mexico (Mexico City) subsidiary has signed a new contract with Deacero (Garza García, Mexico), a leading steel company, to supply oxygen, argon and nitrogen to a new steel plant being built at Ramos Arizpe, a major industrial region in north Mexico. Praxair will build, own and operate a new cryogenic air separation unit with a capacity of 500 m.t./day, which is expected to start up in the first semester of 2014.
