Syngenta, Dow AgroSciences to Cross License Corn Traits

Syngenta says it has signed an agreement with Dow AgroSciences, to cross license their respective corn traits for commercialization within their branded seed businesses. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to the deal, Syngenta will receive global non-exclusive licenses to Dow AgroSciences’ Herculex I Insect Protection for lepidopteran control, and to Herculex RW for corn rootworm control. And Dow AgroSciences will receive global non-exclusive licenses to Syngenta’s Agrisure GT trait for glyphosate tolerance, and to its insect...
