Syngenta Buys Argentine Seeds Firm

Syngenta says it has agreed to acquire SPS Argentina (Buenos Aires), a corn, soybean, and sunflower seed company. Terms were not disclosed. “This investment expands our customer base in Argentina and accelerates the introduction of our proprietary genetically modified traits in soybean and corn,” says Davor Pisk, COO of Syngenta Seeds.
