Paraguay Expected to Approve Genetically Modified Soybeans by Year-End

Paraguay will approve the use of Monsanto's Roundup Ready 2 soybean seeds by the end of the year, allowing the country to nearly double its soy output, to 8 million m.t., in the 2012–13 growing season, according to Reuters reports, which cited Paraguay's agriculture ministry trade chief, Santiago Bertoni.
