Monsanto, Alnylam Partner on  Biologicals Development

Monsanto and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals have formed a strategic alliance to advance biological technologies in the field of agriculture. The new alliance will combine Alnylam’s RNAi-based intellectual property and proprietary technologies with Monsanto’s BioDirect technology, which leverages Monsanto's genomics expertise to identify molecules found in nature that could be used for crop protection.
