DuPont's Pioneer Seed Business Reports Yield Advantages Over Monsanto

DuPont says its Pioneer Hi-Bred seeds business showed “solid” harvest performance in the 2011 North American harvest season, with its highest-volume corn and soybean hybrids delivering yield advantages over competitors' products. According to Pioneer’s on-farm trial database, the company’s five top-selling corn seeds produced 2.6 more bushels per acre than comparable products sold by Monsanto’s DeKalb business.
