DuPont's Optimum GAT Corn and Soybean Launches Delayed

DuPont says it will push back commercialization of the corn trait from 2010 to the "middle of the next decade" because comprehensive harvest results failed to meet the company's high yield standards. DuPont's share price tumbled on the news, down about 7% in mid-day trading. Commercialization of the trait in soybeans will be delayed from 2011 to 2013-2014 due to "regulatory policy in key import markets and increasing complexity in managing grain stewardship."...
