DuPont Bid for Pannar Denied

DuPont says the South African Competition Tribunal has rejected its bid to buy a majority stake in Pannar Seed (Greytown, South Africa), Africa’s largest seed firm. The Tribunal upheld a Competition Commission decision made in December 2010. DuPont’s Pionner Hi-Bred seed business announced the deal in September of last year.
