The deal is expected to strengthen the vegetable seeds business of Bayer CropScience through Abbott & Cobb's "robust" watermelon market position in the U.S. and its growing business in Mexico, Australia, and Asia, Bayer says. About 30 employees of Abbott & Cobb will join the vegetable seed business of Bayer CropScience. The acquisition is expected to be completed...
