BASF Investing $33 Million in Plant Biotech Facility

BASF says it will invest $33 million to expand its plant biotechnology and crop protection R&D facilities at Research Triangle Park (Raleigh, NC). Plans include a climate-controlled greenhouse and laboratories for plant biotechnology research, a custom environmentally-controlled insect production facility, and office space.
