Senate Approves FDA Safety and Innovation Act

The U.S. Senate, on May 24, 2012, approved the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act (S. 2516), which aims to improve safety in the U.S. drug supply chain. The bulk pharmaceutical task force (BPTF; Washington), an affiliate of Socma, has commended the Senate for approving the Safety and Innovation Act.
