Pharmaceuticals: Nycomed to Shift European API Production to India

Pharmaceuticals firm Nycomed (Zurich, Switzerland) says it plans to transfer its current API production from facilities at Linz (Austria) and Singen (Germany) to Zydus Nycomed (Mumbai, India) in the next three-to-four years. Zydus Cadila (Ahmedabad, India) says that Zydus Nycomed its joint venture company with Nycomed will now become an active pharma ingredient (API) manufacturing hub.
