Lonza Advances Capacity Build in China

Lonza says it will start up a new cGMP pharma manufacturing plant this month at Nansha, China for small-scale campaigns between 10 kilograms and several hundred kilograms. The project is part of Lonza’s previously disclosed plans to create a major pharma manufacturing base at Nansha at a cost of about $200 million (CW, Aug. 1/8, p. 14).
