Huber, says it will begin producing calcium carbonate granulation at its Quincy, IL facility, raising its total calcium carbonate granulation capacity by about 10,000 m.t./year. The additional capacity will supply the dietary supplement and pharmaceutical markets. HEM currently only produces calcium carbonate granulation at Modesto, CA, and says the additional location will shorten transit times and lower freight costs to customers in the eastern U.S. The Quincy expansion is due onstream in second quarter 2012...
