Evonik Expands Production Capacity and Builds a Laboratory for HPAPIs

Evonik Industries says it has expanded the production capacity for highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs) on a kilogram scale at its Tippecanoe Laboratories (Lafayette, IN) site. Evonik had acquired Tippecanoe Laboratories from Eli Lilly in 2009. Evonik says it has also set up a new laboratory for HPAPIs at Hanau, Germany. The new laboratory allows Evonik to develop and optimize syntheses for HPAPIs also in Germany.  HPAPIs are active pharmaceutical ingredients that are effective even at very low concentrations.
