Dowpharma is Boosted by Take-Up of Pfenex Platform

Dowpharma, Dow Chemical’s business unit that offers services and products to the pharmaceuticals sector, is starting to enjoy commercial success on several fronts for its Pfenex biotechnology platform, the company tells CW. Pfenex is used to manufacture therapeutic proteins, dubbed biologic drugs, and enzymes for producing small-molecule drug intermediates. Pfenex: Focusing on a high-yield opportunity.
