Sales however decreased by nearly 3%, to $60 million. Sales were unfavorably impacted by exchange rates reflecting a stronger U.S. dollar, Cambrex says. Excluding the currency impact, sales increased by 8.7% and this increase is mainly due to higher volumes of two active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) manufactured under long term supply agreements, higher volumes of controlled substances and slightly higher custom...
