Ampac Fine Chemicals Ups Revenue 55%, Cuts Losses

Ampac Fine Chemicals (AFC; Rancho Cordova, CA), the contract fine chemicals subsidiary of American Pacific (Las Vegas, NV), has reported sales for its fiscal first quarter for 2012 ended December 31, 2011, up 55% to an undisclosed level compared to the same period one year ago. The business recorded an operating loss of $1.2 million for the quarter compared to a loss of $3.6 million for the same period a year earlier.
