Sigma-Aldrich Begins Construction of Powder Manufacturing Facility at U.K. Site

Sigma-Aldrich Fine Chemicals (SAFC; St. Louis, MO), a life science company, plans to expand its Scotland operations with the development of a new powder manufacturing facility at its Irvine, U.K. liquid manufacturing site.  This is the company’s second powder manufacturing facility and will serve customers across Europe, as well as create 24 new jobs.
