UMass Starts Up Biopharma Pilot

The University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass) says it has opened a fully automated biopharma pilot plant and a lab, with equipment and services worth $600,000 donated by Invensys Process Systems (IPS; Plano, TX), Wyeth Biotech (Andover, MA), Dakota Systems (Chicago, IL), and Millipore (Billerica, MA).
