Elevance and hte Sign Research Collaboration

Elevance Renewable Sciences (Woodbridge, IL) and hte AG (Heidelberg, Germany) say they will collaborate to develop biobased lubricant base oils and polymers using hte's high-throughput autoclave testing capabilities and Elevance's olefin metathesis technology. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The companies say use of high-throughput experimentation will enable faster assessment of performance across process parameters and accelerate market introduction.
