Axiall introduces biobased vinyl compounds

Axiall says it has commercially launched the market's first phthalate-free biobased flexible vinyl compounds. The company says the compounds, brand-named Aspire, offer "improved performance at a price that is equal to its traditional, nonsustainable counterparts."  Aspire products are derived from biobased plasticizers and are free of heavy metals.
