BioAmber to supply succinic acid to automotive bioplastics partnership

BioAmber (Minneapolis) says it will supply biobased succinic acid to a Faurecia-Mitsubishi Chemical automotive bioplastics partnership, although BioAmber did not disclose financial details or when shipments would begin. Faurecia has  been conducting research into bioplastics derived from 100% natural materials since 2006, and has signed an exclusive industrial partnership agreement with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation to codevelop bioplastics designed for mass-production for use in automotive interiors, including door panel trim strip, structural...
