Tata Chemicals to Increase Stake in Rallis India

Tata Chemicals (Mumbai) says it has decided to increase its stake in agchem firm Rallis India (Mumbai), a Tata Group (Mumbai) company, by offering to purchase equity shares from other promoter Tata group companies. Tata Chemicals currently has a 9.4% stake in Rallis India, and proposes to purchase an additional 35.8% stake. Tata Chemicals has a strong presence in the crop nutrition business and Rallis India is a leader in the crop protection business, Tata Chemicals says.
